ExtraWare for Vision provides a suite of programs that provide some
additional functionality beyond that intrinsically available within
the InPractice Systems general practice software suite.
There are also a few 'lolipops' - small be useful programs that you may find useful
- Free Text Read Search - searches through the complete Read Term Dictionery for terms that match the text you enter.
- Dusty - finds old possibly unsed data files. It searches through your Vision directories and show files that are absent from the internal list of Vision files. If there are database files they may just be cluterint upyour system. Ask the Helpline for further assistance!
- eGFR - adds a calculated eGFR and CKD Staging for creatinine results. All your creatinine results are identified and an eGFR calculated it is then saved with its date. You can add CKD Staging if several results are within a given range (ie Stable Renal Function). You may set this up as a scheduled task via the Windows ControlPanel so that your database is updated daily.
- LabelPrint - a more versatile label printer than that within Vision. Patient details are 'picked up' from consultation manager and the free text label area can utilise a range of print formats and sizes
